(VIENNA, VA) – Buffalo Communications (Buffalo) – the global golf-lifestyle public relations, branding, marketing-communications and creative services firm – has promoted Scott Leightman to Public Relations Director and Glenn Gray to Public Relations Manager.

In his new position, Leightman will assume a larger role in strategy development and oversight of program execution within the company’s products division. He will also direct on-boarding new client-partners and assist with opportunities for Buffalo category growth.

Leightman has been integral to the success of Buffalo client-partners Adams Golf, GolfLogix, OptiShot, Tin Cup and more. Prior to joining Buffalo in 2011, he was Director of PR at TaylorMade-adidas Golf, Vice President of PR for the NBA’s Charlotte Bobcats and Director of Basketball Communications for the Phoenix Suns.

Gray’s ascension to PR Manager stems from strong performance for Buffalo client-partners Hank Haney International Junior Golf Academy, Ivan Lendl International Junior Tennis Academy, the World Golf Foundation (GOLF 20/20) “Image of the Game” initiative and more.

Prior to joining Buffalo in 2010, Gray managed marketing and PR for the Hank Haney International Junior Golf Academy and International Junior Golf Tour following similar positions with Nike and Octagon Athletes & Personalities.

“Scott and Glenn are seasoned PR professionals with extensive networks in and beyond golf,” says Rich Katz, Managing Director of Buffalo. “They continue to provide client-partners with innovative ideas and consistently position them ‘in the news,’ driving brand equity and sales.”

For more than 12 years, Buffalo has generated frequent, well-positioned exposure to help increase awareness and revenues for top brands. It has committed substantial resources to establish an extremely high-performing and sophisticated operating platform. This includes recruiting and training skilled PR and marketing professionals, bolstering information-technology systems and expanding client-partner presence in digital and social media.
