In its 9th year the La Jolla Concours D’Elegance is a prestigious international automotive event that attracts car enthusiasts, collectors, and restorers from all over the world. The La Jolla Concours D’Elegance has evolved and grown into a destination event for both the entrants and attendees because of an offering of special automotive inspired events.
The weekend kicked off on Friday evening with the Rolls Royce Motor Cars Contemporary Classic Cocktail party at Amaya restaurant in La Jolla. Saturday’s activities included a scenic motor tour of breath taking San Diego locations and a VIP Reception and Silent Auction to raise moneys for the Monarch School and the La Jolla Historical Association at Ellen Browning Scripps Park – La Jolla Cove.
The La Jolla Concours D’Elegance weekend culminated with the judging of the automobiles with particular attention to design, styling and elegance and the awards ceremony. A Full Swing Golf simulator was available for guests in an exclusive VIP area on Sunday. Needless to say, the Full Swing Golf simulator system was very active throughout Sunday’s event.
