Sanford, FL – RIFE had three putters in play at the Par 3 Tournament held on Wednesday of this week at The Masters, but it was a center shafted Iconic putter that sealed the victory and captured the crystal trophy after a one-hole sudden death playoff.
Five players finished tied for the lead at 23 (four-under par) after the short, nine-hole layout. Two players opted out of the play-off, leaving three to shoot it out. The winner used his RIFE Vault 001 Series Iconic putter to roll in a birdie putt on the first hole of the playoff and win the event.
“It was exciting to be there and watch the playoff,” said Kyle Ulrikson, RIFE’s PGA Tour Rep, “and even more exciting to see one of our new Vault Series putters used to roll in that winning putt. I mean, it’s The Masters. There’s so much history and tradition around this event that it’s hard to not get excited. Now, hopefully he can break the “curse” and be in the same spot to win this tournament on Sunday.”
