Full course installations of “The Players Network” to begin in May
Scottsdale, Ariz. – Digital Caddies, Inc. (OTCPK: CADY), has just launched a new easy-to-use, tablet-based technology platform that installs on golf cars and connects to the web through a nationwide high-speed wireless network (carrier to be announced in the coming weeks). The new Digital Caddies platform is a FREE and powerful tool for golf course operators to improve their guests’ experiences, build guest loyalty, increase course revenue and lower operating costs. The first complete installations of the Digital Caddie Players Network will take place this summer throughout Arizona, Southern California, Nevada and Florida.
“At Digital Caddies, we believe golfers like to play fast and receive great service,” said Digital Caddies President Mike Loustalot. “Our technology enables golf course operators to provide a better golfer experience and improve operations. Each golf car-based tablet is literally a Caddie, a Concierge and a Course Marshall all in one. And, the best part is, our technology and equipment are absolutely free to qualifying golf courses.”
The content provided through the new tablet platform is specifically designed to promote interaction between the golfer and the device throughout their round and thus provides an excellent opportunity for golf course operators and advertisers to interact directly with golfers in ways that have never before been possible.
The Digital Caddie platform delivers an improved guest experience by providing, instant and accurate yardages, real time food and beverage interaction and will soon include other content golfers demand such as live delivery of news, sports scores and stock market updates. Course operators can increase revenue by promoting merchandise, food & beverage specials, lessons, repeat rounds or whatever they’d like to sell through promotional videos or graphics. And, Digital Caddies can help golf course operators lower operating costs by helping them track golf car inventory, manage driver behavior and assist in forecasting agronomy issues.
