Scottsdale, Ariz. – Leah Aitken was recently appointed as the Director of Human Resources for Scottsdale-based OB Sports Golf Management. Aitken is responsible for all human resources related activities for OB Sports to include communication of the employee handbook, employee recruitment and selection, new hire orientation, along with other training and development initiatives. She also oversees the company benefit programs including medical, dental, and vision, as well as the 401(k) program and all payroll administration.
Prior to OB Sports, Aitken served as the Director of Human Resources for prominent national dining chain, RA Sushi. Aitken worked for RA Sushi for over a decade as she started with the organization as a restaurant manager (2001 to 2003), then was promoted to Human Resources Manager (2003 to 2007). From 2007 to 2013 she was the RA Sushi’s Human Resources Director and managed all aspects of the department including policies and procedures, training, recruitment, hiring, payroll, employee relations and corporate safety programs.

Therefore, her practical experience with a similarly sized national company will translate well to our Human Resources support we provide for our respective clients and associates.”
Aitken holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Arizona State University. She continues to develop professionally by remaining active within several trade/industry related organizations as she holds a PHR (Professional Human Resources) certification and is a current member of SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management.
