Locals can play Talking Rock Golf Course while supporting troops
PRESCOTT, Ariz. (April 25, 2013) – Prescott’s private luxury home community Talking Rock Ranch is honoring those who serve, both past and present, this Armed Forces Day with an afternoon on the golf course. In conjunction with Goodies-4-Grunts, Talking Rock will recognize veterans during its annual Golf Demo Day May 18.
From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. golfers from all over Prescott Valley can hit up the tees for $75, with $25 of the cost going directly to Goodies-4-Grunts, a foundation that provides comfort items to men and women serving overseas. In additional support of our troops, veterans are invited to golf at no cost. The event, which is open to the public, will also collect donations such as toiletries, DVDs and CDs to send.
The day will also include a look into the golf world with demonstrations of the latest products from industry leaders PING, Nike Golf, Titliest and more. In addition to special discounts, 10 percent of purchased merchandise will go to Goodies-4-Grunts.
