Alpharetta, Ga. – Affiniti Golf Partners (www.affinitigolf.com) has hired Nick Carter as general manager at Berkeley Hills Country Club, a private club in the northern Atlanta suburb of Duluth, Ga.
Carter brings a 25-year international club management and marketing background to Berkeley Hills. He most recently was general manager at developed country clubs in Beijing and Shanghai, China. Prior to that Carter worked in Atlanta as director of sales and marketing of the Golf and Private Club Division of the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company. Previously he was in Singapore as the director of sales and marketing for ClubCorp’s Asia Division. Carter earned an MBA from the University of Southern California.
Berkeley Hills was originally established in 1964 by a group of developers, then purchased by the membership in April 1984. It remains one of the few member-owned clubs today in metro-Atlanta.
In addition to championship golf, Berkeley Hills Country Club offers its membership eight lighted tennis courts, including two clay courts, a lap pool and diving well, expansive fitness center, a board room and three private event rooms, plus casual dining in the Mixed Grill and Bar.
