CARLSBAD, Calif. (May 20, 2013) – Golfers who want to take their time in the morning before heading out to the course will enjoy the two new golf packages at La Costa Resort and Spa this season.
One of golf’s iconic venues, where the legends of the game have played since the 1960s, La Costa is introducing its “Afternoon Swing” package (tee times starting from 11:30 a.m.) and the “Express Golf Happy Hour” (starting at 3 p.m.), both on the renovated Champions Course.
The later starts provide golfers with the opportunity to relax with some room service, enjoy the pools, hit the fitness center, or take a stroll through the beautiful gardens – without having to hustle to the first tee.
The “Afternoon Swing” includes:
• Choice of accommodations
• 18 holes of Golf (after 11:30 a.m.) for twosome
• Unlimited Use of Practice Facility & Range Balls
• Complimentary Callaway Rental Clubs
• $30 per person Daily Dining & Bar Credit
• Rates begin from $489 (based on double occupancy)
The “Express Happy Hour” includes:
• Choice of accommodations
• Twilight Golf (after 3 p.m.) for twosome
• Unlimited Use of Practice Facility & Range Balls
• Complimentary Callaway Rental Clubs
• $30 per person Daily Dining & Bar Credit
• Rates begin from $429 (based on double occupancy)
Although La Costa has begun a second major renovation on its other course, the project won’t inhibit golfers from enjoying the Champions Course all summer long. Under the direction of Pascuzzo & Pate Golf Design – which remodeled La Costa’s Champions Course in 2011 – the new layout is on track to reopen late 2013 as the renamed Legends Course.
