Santa Ana, CA – May 30, 2013 – IOMIC USA, manufacturer of innovative, revolutionary and dynamically designed grips, announced today that the winners of the PGA Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial, the Senior PGA Championship, and Pure Silk-Bahamas LPGA Classic used IOMIC grips. The winner of the PGA Crowne Plaza Invitational carded a 14-under 266 to win by one stroke and claim his first PGA tour victory in five years. He picked up 500 FedExCup points for the win, and moved into the top 10 in the standings. The winner was using IOMIC Sticky 2.3 grips.
The winner of the Senior PGA Championship shot a final round 6-under 65 to finish at 11 under and become the first Asian male to win a senior major tournament. This was his first appearance in the event, and first trip to the United States. He was using IOMIC Art Grip Sticky Opus3 grips with low torque for more stability and control during every shot.
The winner of the Pure Silk-Bahamas LPGA Classic shot a final round 5-under-par 42 on the weather shortened 12-hole layout to win by two shots and claim her first LPGA tour victory. She is projected to move up 28 spots on the Rolex Women’s World Golf Ranking. The winner was using an IOMIC Putter Grip.
