Hank Haney, one of the world’s most renowned golf instructors, will give a series of golf clinics to Myrtle Beach area golfers seeking advice on how to improve their golf swing and play the game better. Haney is best known for teaching more than 200 PGA professionals including the world’s top player Tiger Woods and two-time major championship winner Mark O’Meara.
During his Saturday, June 8 Golfsmith store appearance, Haney will conduct a full swing clinic, a short game clinic and also hold an autograph session. At the end of the clinics, one lucky attendee will be selected during a random drawing for a 20 minute lesson with Haney in the store.
Haney will appear at the new Golfsmith Xtreme Myrtle Beach store, located at 1080 Oak Forest Lane in Myrtle Beach, the newest Golfsmith location in the area and its most technologically advanced interactive, golf retail experience. The 35,000 square foot Golfsmith Xtreme store offers a more expansive, experiential layout. The new Golfsmith Xtreme Myrtle Beach store has 10 total hitting bays in an indoor driving range; five have high-tech golf simulators where customers can experience the latest equipment right in the store. The new store also features GolfTEC, a state-of-the-art in-store improvement center, with PGA teaching professionals and certified coaches to help golfers improve their game.
