ORLANDO, FL – June 12, 2013 – FlightScope would like to congratulate Jesse Smith for qualifying for the U.S. Open. Jesse has been working on his game with Flightscope Certified Instructor, Shaun Webb, over the last few months.
“Jesse obviously already was a great player but helping him understand a few key numbers, specifically angle of attack, was important if he was going to get the most out of his full swing,” explained, coach, Shaun Webb. Webb continued, “When he first came to me his 5 iron angle of attack was steep with an average of -10.6. Within a few FlightScope sessions we were able to bring his average to -4.2 which is a much more playable number and allows him to hit the ball more consistently and powerfully. Without the help of FlightScope I would not have been able to help him improve this very important aspect of his full swing.”
This week, June 13-16, Jesse is playing in the 113th U.S. Open at Merion Golf Club where he has a shot of realizing any golfer’s dream, winning a Major!
FlightScope wishes Jesse the best luck.
