Fifth LPGA Tour Win in 2013 and 50th Overall

The 24-year-old earned her 5th LPGA victory of the year (8th of her career) and tied the record for most wins by a South Korean LPGA pro in a single season. With this recent win, she now leads in money, victories and the Player of the Year points race.
The $300,000 first place check was nice but this young player has her sights set on this week’s U.S. Women’s Open at Sebonack Golf Club in Southampton, New York. If she manages to tame the Nicklaus/Doak design and be crowned the winner Sunday night, then she will tie the all time record held by Babe Zaharias and be only the second player in LPGA history to win the first three majors of the season.
