OZIK XCON Played by Senior Players Championship Winner

July 2, 2013

Anaheim, CA- Matrix Shafts had a great weekend across the different tour levels by not only being played by the LPGA U.S. Open Women’s Champion, but also the winner of the Constellation Senior Players Championship. This first major title winner played an OZIK XCON in his TaylorMade RBZ 5-wood.

The OZIK XCON was the first true high-launch, low-spin shaft introduced in the golf industry. The X-CON, which refers to the X-Axis control, provides the ability to independently control launch and spin characteristics. To date, other manufacturers have only been able to construct high-launch and high-spin or low-launch and low-spin without difficulty. The X-CON designs bring maximum performance in high MOI clubheads and stable feel for all players.

The OZIK XCON is now considered a Matrix Legacy shaft since it was replaced by the OZIK X3 White Tie last fall. The OZIK X3 White Tie is the third model in the Matrix Flight System and performs with the same high-launch, low-spin flight characteristics as the XCON.
