Old White TPC saw the 2012 champion arrive with a Tour Prototype Flatso Ultra in-hand and leave with a T6 finish for the week. The 29-year-old chose the Flatso Ultra due to its pentagonal shape and non-tapered design. This Tour prototype gives players the feel of a pistol grip but adds in SuperStroke’s patented grip technology. This T6 was the Ocala, Florida native’s best finish so far in 2013.
SuperStroke grips were also played by 4 players finishing T23. A Fatso 5.0 was played by an 8-time PGA Tour winner, an Ultra Slim 1.0 was used by both the 2011 Greenbrier champion and the 2012 Barclays champion, and a Flatso Ultra was in the hands of the 19-year-old Texas native. All of these players found SuperStroke putter grips to help increase their consistency on the greens in West Virginia.
In Europe, a SuperStroke Slim 3.0 was used by a player finishing T8 in the Alstom Open De France. The Slim 3.0 has been used by the Denmark native to earn 5-straight top-20 finishes, including back-to-back runner-ups at the Lyoness Open and BMW International Open.
Quick stat: Leading the category of birdie average per round is a 41-time PGA Tour winner with 4.44. This 4-time major champion uses the Slim 3.0. At a close-second is Billy Horschel, using a Mid Slim 2.0, at 4.27 birdies per round. Further proof that SuperStroke grip technology will make you putt more consistent and lower your scores.
