Santa Clara, CA. – Mobiplex Inc. today announced that Robert W. Scannell, general partner of privately held Tradewinds Investment Management LP, was appointed to the company’s board of directors, increasing the board’s size to four members.
Scannell is the founder and a General Partner of Tradewinds Investment Management, an investment firm focused on emerging market, value and distressed investments. Prior to founding Tradewinds, Scannell spent nine years in institutional fixed-income sales at Merrill Lynch. Scannell holds a BA and MBA from Penn State University, a Juris Doctorate from Concord Law School, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
