MYRTLE BEACH, SC – Companies who can sell directly to their customers will not find a more willing audience than the 5,000-plus people who will participate in the Golf Expo portion of the 30th Annual Golf.Com World Amateur Handicap Championship in Myrtle Beach, SC Aug. 26-30.
Over 3,000 golfers will converge on the Grand Strand to compete in the largest on-site amateur golf tournament in the world. The 72-hole competition will take place on nearly 60 courses, and following each round the players and their guests attend the World’s Largest 19th Hole at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. The Golf Expo is one of several activities at the World’s Largest 19th Hole.
As exhibitors in the Golf Expo portion each night, companies can sell directly to approximately 5,000 people at the convention center. The World Am attracts players from every state in the U.S.A. and over two dozen foreign countries.
“We have always found the World Am Golf Expo to be very successful for our company,” said Vice President Michael Vandiver of Razor Golf, an equipment company based near Tampa, FL. “There is not a better audience – they are all competitive golfers. And it is always proves to be a memorable week. We haven’t missed a World Am in over 10 years.”

GOLFALYZER: Founded in 2013, the Golfalyzer™ is the result of a memorable round of golf being played by its founders, Brent Pauley and Chuck Stump. Lots of golfers understand the positive effect that a few drinks may have on their ability to relax the body and quiet the mind. We wondered if anyone ever took the time to monitor how much they consumed on the course and at what level(s) it impacted their game. Even more importantly, did golfers realize what their blood-alcohol content (BAC) was by the end of the round? Thus, the Golfalyzer™ was born. The Golfalyzer™ is a personal pocket breathalyzer that golfers can use to monitor their BAC. The Golfalyzer™ is reusable for 800-1,000 uses. It is ideal for the golfer who has everything or the tournament committee that is looking for something new and unique to offer as a promotional giveaway.
