Top Apparel Companies Featured in Fashion Designer Panel; “Fashion Row” and on the Show Floor

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – Fashion once again is in the spotlight of the 2013 PGA Expo, Aug. 19-21, when nearly 100 top golf and resort apparel companies converge at The Venetian Resort Casino Hotel in Las Vegas and at the center of Las Vegas “Fashion Week” for 2014 apparel line introductions, designer panel discussions on the latest trends, special events and professional networking among thousands of golf, resort and activewear buyers.

Simultaneous to multiple fashion and apparel exhibitions taking place at The Venetian and nearby Las Vegas Convention Center, the 2013 PGA Expo will shine a spotlight on fashion while also offering a full schedule of golf product introductions by more than 200 top golf vendors, new equipment-testing opportunities, golf technology programming, professional development seminars, special events and networking programs during the three-day golf industry gathering.

“Las Vegas will again be the fashion capital of the world in August, and the PGA Expo will be right in the middle of Fashion Week,” said PGA Worldwide Golf Exhibitions Senior Vice President and General Manager Ed Several. “In addition to seeing everything that’s new in golf fashion and identifying the crossover opportunities in golf, resort and lifestyle apparel markets, PGA Professionals and retailers are able to network with representatives from virtually every major apparel label in the world.”

PGA Expo Fashion Designer Panel

The PGA Expo Fashion Designer Panel returns to the Main Stage on Wednesday, Aug. 21, at 9 a.m. to feature renowned designers Mossimo Giannulli of G/Fore, Chris Rosaasen of Travis Mathew and Tim Dally of Tom Morris. Golf Digest Fashion Director Marty Hackel and Golf Channel fashion aficionado Win McMurry once again will moderate the lively discussion of the latest trends and crossover merchandising opportunities of golf, resort and lifestyle apparel. Fashion Row

Leading apparel companies will feature their latest collections in the PGA Expo “Fashion Row”, located just outside the Venetian Grand Ballroom doors and in the spotlight for thousands of attending apparel exhibition attendees. On the Show floor, a strong showing of golf and resort apparel lines will host numerous fashion presentations while providing industry professionals with comprehensive looks at their latest lines for 2014.

AGM Summer Forum

The Association of Golf Merchandisers (AGM) will host the AGM Summer Forum at the PGA Expo in Las Vegas on Monday, Aug. 19, featuring a new fashion-merchandising format to include a retail trends roundtable and luncheon; a Tour of Clubs (Bali Hai GC, Las Vegas Golf & Tennis); and the AGM Product Preview & Reception. Additionally, the AGM will present merchandising seminars within the PGA Expo Education Conference on Wednesday, Aug. 21, and provide member services and networking opportunities daily on the Show floor in booth #108 and within a member networking room at the PGA Expo Industry Reception on Tuesday, Aug. 20.

The PGA Expo, the industry retail springboard for golf equipment, accessories and apparel in the second-half of the golf season, returns to The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino in Las Vegas, Aug. 19-21, 2013. Multiple fashion tradeshows will take place at The Venetian and in Las Vegas during the PGA Expo timeframe, providing a special synergy to golf industry apparel buyers and manufacturers.

In addition to a strong mix of golf apparel brands, the PGA Expo features leading equipment companies offering hands-on testing of their latest innovations and technology at Demo Night, and on the Show floor in the Club Performance and Testing Center, putting green, and ball flight analysis area. Additionally, a new golf technology pavilion and educational symposium on golf technology advancements will be offered.
