Chicago-Based EZLinks Hires Tech Industry Veteran to Support Growth

Chicago – (July 25, 2013) – EZLinks Golf, Inc., the world’s largest golf reservations network and Chicago based ecommerce and software development company, announced today the hiring of Larry Rubin as Vice President of Product Management. Rubin will be responsible for overseeing the EZLinks’ product roadmap and ensuring EZLinks maintains its position as the golf industry’s operational software leader.

In his role, Rubin will work closely with the EZLinks account management and technology teams as well as golf course clients to maintain and create a suite of software products designed to support the unique needs of the golf industry. Rubin is also responsible for identifying cutting edge innovations ensuring EZLinks and the more than 1,000 courses that leverage the EZLinks software suite stay ahead of the game, and to advance the company’s ecommerce platform. Prior to joining EZLinks, Rubin was Vice President of Product Management at Restaurant.com, where he successfully oversaw the company’s product roadmap and helped the ecommerce company achieve significant growth. Rubin was instrumental in evolving the company’s ecommerce platform as well as its B2B product suite, and he successfully launched the company’s first customer-facing iPhone and Android apps.

Earlier in his career, Rubin developed his B2B and B2C product management acumen while executing a forward-thinking product roadmap for FTD Group Inc., delivering products to support more than 20,000 independent florist operations. Prior to that, Rubin served as a consultant at Arthur D. Little, Inc., creating a “minimalist manufacturing” consulting practice that incorporated manufacturing improvement principles developed by a Harvard Business School professor.

Rubin holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Washington University as well as MBA and master of engineering management degrees from Northwestern University.
