3M Championship, Mylan Classic and Ricoh British Open winners chose Softspikes® cleat models
BRENTWOOD, Tenn., August 5, 2013 … Softspikes®/PrideSports, the world’s best-selling golf cleat brand and maker of the #1 Cleat in Golf, claimed three more victories this weekend. The Mylan Classic winner chose the always-popular Cyclone cleat to finish with a five stroke lead. Softspikes’ Cyclone cleat has claimed nearly 50 Tour wins since entering the market in 2011. In addition to the winner, 23 of the Top 27 finishers also sported the brand.
The LPGA Tour saw a record-breaking event this weekend in Scotland. After 10 straight majors won by Asian players, the streak was broken and the 2013 Ricoh Women’s British Open victory was claimed while wearing one of Softspikes’ most popular models, the Pulsar cleat. Pulsar features eight flexing legs with green-friendly pads to offer comfort and stability to all players.
“Professional Tour events never fail to excite and entertain, and this weekend’s events were no exception,” said John Hohman, Vice President of Marketing, PrideSports. “We are very proud to be part of the memorable moments of Tour professionals.”
Softspikes’ patented Dynamic Cleat Technology allows its cleats to be responsive to all terrains – Tee Boxes, Fairways, Roughs, Greens, etc – providing confidence on every swing of the club. In other words, longer drives, better iron shots and lower scores. For more information on Softspikes, please visit www.softspikes.com.
