New sponsorship agreement makes Dixon Golf the official golf ball of the tour and allows AAGT to increase the size of its tournament purses
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (August 15, 2013) – The All-American Gateway Tour (AAGT) has announced a new sponsorship agreement with Dixon Golf that makes their high performance eco-friendly golf ball the official golf ball of AAGT while also benefiting the tour’s players through larger purses.
“We are very excited about the Dixon Golf partnership and are pleased to announce that because of it, we will be able to increase the size of our purses even more in our upcoming series,” says Holly Dean, Director of Communications and Marketing for AAGT. “It is important to us that our players are directly impacted financially by our sponsors’ contributions. To accomplish this objective, we will be adding money to our tournament purses and championship match play purse every time we gain or renew a tour sponsor.”
In addition to giving players the chance to play for larger purses at AAGT’s tournaments, the new partnership also provides players the opportunity to receive a Dixon Golf endorsement by participating in Dixon Golf’s The BIG Tournament. Dixon Golf will be selecting AAGT members from The BIG Tournament to endorse during AAGT’s upcoming Fall, Winter, and Spring Series. “Having the ability to staff our professional team through this premiere tour is a great opportunity for us,” says William Carey, CEO of Dixon Golf. “Since the BIG Tournament is a cumulative national competition, we are confident in finding top-tier golfers to welcome to our team.”
AAGT’s risk free membership sale for their upcoming Fall, Winter, and Spring Series opened on August 1, 2013. Players can register for free, but will not be charged until a minimum of 100 members have joined. The first 100 members will also receive a discounted annual membership rate of $1,250 and will be automatically entered into a drawing for one of three free memberships. In addition, for every member past 100, $500 will be directed to the tournament purses, ensuring $50,000 will be added to the tournament purses if the tour achieves 200 members. AAGT is also implementing a 100% purse payback program, where all the dollars related to the qualifiers, minus any course costs, go back into the purses as well.
To learn more about AAGT and the details of their upcoming series, which includes the 100% purse payback program, a cumulative “Points Race” for a Web.com Tour playing exemption in every series, sponsorship events that award free entry into tournaments, and a series ending championship with a growing first place prize, please visit www.aagtgolf.com.
