Sedgefield Country Club hosted the PGA Tour’s Wyndham Championship and the Tour Prototype Flatso Ultra was used in a runner-up finish. The player used a Sunday Strokes-Gained of 3.151 to pull his way into a playoff and a chance to take home his second win of 2013. The Flatso Ultra gives players our non-tapered technology with a new feel, our pentagonal design. With this finish, he jumped to 8th in the FedEx Cup standings and also has a good chance to make this year’s President’s Cup team.
A SuperStroke Fatso 5.0 was in the hands of a T2 finisher in Knoxville, TN at the Web.com’s News Sentinel Open. The Fatso 5.0 is the largest SuperStroke grip offered, measuring 1.67″ in diameter. It greatly quiets the hands and allows the shoulders to swing freely, allowing for a higher level of impact consistency. This runner-up finish was the 2010 Reno Tahoe Open Champion’s best finish on the Web.com Tour this year.
Almost pulling off a few more wins following Jason Dufner’s PGA Championship victory keeps our momentum going. With the FedEx Cup playoffs up next, SuperStroke Golf has a good chance to top $100 million in Tour player earnings by the end of 2013.
Quick Stat: The Wyndham Championship runner-up led the field in birdies with 22.
