Amenity course of Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort turns back the clock with special $65 green free
(WORLEY, Idaho) – Circling Raven Golf Club (www.circlingraven.com) celebrates its 10th Anniversary this Saturday, Aug. 24 with a “Decade of the Raven” Tournament, featuring green fees and menu items reflecting 2003 prices.
A 2:30 p.m. shotgun start kicks off the day’s activities, which also include on-course contests to win Circling Raven apparel and accessories. The $65 entry fee covers golf with GPS-enabled cart and access to the course’s practice range.
“This event provides a unique opportunity to show our appreciation to the many guests and golfers who have supported the course and the Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort during the last 10 years,” said Circling Raven Director of Golf Tom Davidson, PGA.
Since May, Circling Raven has celebrated its anniversary by giving away stay-and-play packages during drawings on the 10th of each month. Golfers who play the course and complete an entry form are eligible.
Four winners have been chosen to date – Gil Lee (San Diego), Jeff Powell (Spokane, Wash.), James Sams (Spokane, Wash.) and Zack Culpepper (Coeur d’Alene, Idaho). Two more will be selected in September and October. At the end of the season, all participants will be entered for a chance to win the grand-prize, 10-round golf package.
Earlier this year, Circling Raven was named to Golf Digest’s biennial “America’s 100 Greatest Public Golf Courses 2013-2014” list and has earned many other awards from prominent national magazines, including being named the No. 1 course in Idaho by Golfweek and one of the “Top 100 Courses You Can Play” by GOLF Magazine. Circling Raven and Davidson were also honored as PGA National Merchandiser of the Year in the Resorts Category in 2010.

Daily rates through Sept. 29 are $80 Monday-Thursday and $95 Friday-Sunday and holidays.
