Mary Beth Crowley will compete in the Tee It Up Celebrity Golf Classic
Louisville, KY (August 28, 2013) – Mary Beth Crowley of Boston, Mass., loves golf, and she also loves the games’ most innovative glove company even more, now that she’s won Bionic Gloves’ Swing With the Stars sweepstakes. Crowley was randomly drawn from Facebook and mail-in entries collected by Bionic earlier this spring. She has won a trip to Los Angeles, Calif., to golf at Mountain Gate Country Club on Oct. 7 and will play with a variety of Hollywood celebrities in the 8th Annual Tee It Up Celebrity Golf Classic.
Crowley is an avid golfer and has golfed all over the country throughout her 20 years of experience on the links. Her father, a five-time NE PGA champion, four-time Massachusetts Open winner and NE PGA hall of famer, instilled within her a love for the game at an early age. But she didn’t begin golfing until her college years. “I always liked golf and would travel with my dad when I was young, but I never thought I’d be any good,” said Crowley. But once she began playing in college, she found she had a knack for the game.
Bionic Gloves is the Official Glove Sponsor of the Tee It Up Celebrity Golf Classic, hosted by Tee It Up Radio Network. The Classic benefits the Wounded Warrior Project, an organization that provides programs and services to severely injured service members during their transition from active duty to civilian life. Crowley will golf with members of the WWP as well as a host of celebrities. Invitees include Alan Thicke, Rob Riggle and Kristy Swanson, among many others.
Even after traveling to tournaments all over the country with her dad and golfing at world-renowned courses herself, Crowley is excited for this “once in a lifetime opportunity” and can’t wait to tee up at a new club.
