OB Sports operates over 50 eighteen hole equivalent golf facilities throughout the USA
Scottsdale, Ariz. – Digital Caddies, Inc. (OTCPK: CADY), and OB Sports have signed a definitive corporate agreement for the Digital Caddies’ Players Network. OB Sports’ operates over 50 eighteen hole equivalent public and private facilities around the country and is one of the top golf management companies in the world.
“We’re very impressed with the new Digital Caddies tablets,” said OB Sports Chief Operation Officer and Principal Phil Green. “After testing the platform at the ASU Karsten Golf Course in Arizona and seeing how it enhanced our guest’s experience, we believe the tablets will be a great addition to all of our managed clubs around the country. We’re excited about this partnership and believe the system will help us better communicate with our daily-fee guests as well as members at our private clubs.”
This past spring, Digital Caddies launched The Player’s Network – a tablet-based technology platform installed on golf carts that connects to the Web through a high-speed wireless network and improves guests’ experiences by providing instant and accurate yardages, real-time food and beverage interaction, and other content golfers demand. The platform is also a powerful tool for golf course operators to build guest loyalty, increase course revenue and lower operating costs. The content on the platform is specifically designed to promote interaction between the golfer and the device throughout their round and thus provides an excellent opportunity for golf course operators and advertisers to interact directly with golfers in ways that have never been possible before and is FREE to qualifying golf courses.
“We’re thrilled to partner with OB Sports and add their courses to the Digital Caddies Players Network,” said Digital Caddies President Mike Loustalot. “OB Sports’ mix of premier public and private courses around the country will be incredible venues for The Player’s Network.”
