Erie, ON) on Tues. Sept. 17 at 1:00 p.m., followed by another event during the noon hour on Sat. Sept. 21 at Flemingdon Park Golf Club (Don Mills, OV).
According to Waitkus, the book is packed with plenty of pertinent information that will pique the interest of any new golfer, from tips on how to find the right instructor and proper golf equipment to the basics on course etiquette and handicapping plus insight on how to use golf as a successful business tool.
The book which has been well-received by novice golfers and their instructors throughout the U.S. and Waitkus anticipates the same enthusiasm from golfers in Canada, too. During the upcoming book signings Waitkus will reveal how Get Your Golf On! helps demystify the game from tee to green and at the post-game level too (a.k.a. the 19th hole) – removing the “timid” from intimidation.
As Founder and CEO of Golf for Cause, Waitkus regularly shares her book with clients and students who frequent her popular golf tournaments and business-golf outings. Her students and readers enjoy the interesting anecdotes from business leaders and golf pros which trail throughout the book. The handy glossary (filled with frequently used golf terms) serves as an added bonus. This 100-page, soft-bound guide fits easily into a golf bag for quick reference.
