BOULDER, Colo. (September 13th, 2013) -KBS is excited to announce the immediate availability of the C-Taper Lite shaft through Nike custom orders. The KBS C-Taper Lite shaft compliments the existing product line of KBS shafts by offering golfers a lighter weight, controlled spin and mid-high launch option. In addition to Nike, PING also offers the C-Taper Lite shafts as a custom order.
Available now at Nike, the C-Taper Lite shaft is taper tip and comes in three flexes, Regular (105g), Stiff (110g) and X-Stiff (115g). The C-Taper Lite shaft has been adopted by multiple players on the PGA and Web.com Tours for its smooth feel and tight dispersion benefits. Recently, KBS had multiple top 10 finishes on the Web.com Tour with the C-Taper Lite.
The C-Taper Lite iron shaft incorporates proven KBS performance benefits – piercing trajectory and smooth feel – in a lighter weight design. Featuring a constant taper design and proportionate increase in wall thickness, the C-taper Lite maximizes energy transfer for maximum distance. As a result, an average of 5 yards increased distance was seen during robot testing. The C-Taper Lite comes with the signature KBS brushed satin finish.
