Santa Ana, CA – September 16, 2013 – IOMIC USA, manufacturer of innovative, revolutionary and dynamically designed grips, announced today that IOMIC Grips were used by the winner and second place finisher of the Japan LPGA Championship Konica Minolta Cup. Two top-ten finishers at the LPGA Evian Championship also used IOMIC grips. IOMIC grips have now been played by the winners of 40 worldwide tour events in 2013.

The winner of the Japan LPGA Championship Konica Minolta Cup shot an 11-under-par 201 to end up in a playoff that lasted six holes on Sunday. The final round was washed out by bad weather and thunderstorms, but there was enough of a break in the weather to complete the playoff. The winner used IOMIC Sticky Vivid and X-Grip Vivid grips. The second place finisher used IOMIC Sticky 1.8 grips.
The second place finisher at the Evian Championship in France finished the rain-shortened, 54-hole tournament with an 8-under-par 205 total. She uses IOMIC Art Grip Series X-Grip Opus1 and Sticky Opus2 grips. A T6 finisher at this event also used IOMIC grips.
