ANAHEIM, CA. – September 18, 2013 – The First Tee of Orange County, CA., a non-profit organization formed to impact the young people of Orange County, is pleased to announce that Tijeras Creek Golf Club is hosting a fundraising tournament on Monday, September 30th.
According to The First Tee of Orange County President Tim Casey, “This is a win-win event. Proceeds help foster the children of The First Tee of Orange County program and golfers will enjoy one of the county’s best golf courses. We encourage all golfers to come out and participate.”
The Tijeras Creek Golf Club fundraising golf tournament is scheduled for Monday, September 30th, Registration starts at 11:00am with a shotgun start of 1:00pm — dinner will be served immediately after. The two-person shamble will cost $80.00 per player which includes golf, food, raffle prizes and more!

The First Tee of Orange County will impact the young people in the Orange County community through its life skills education and character training. Each of these participants will be introduced to the lifelong sport of golf while learning skills such as goal-setting, managing emotions and resolving conflicts. The program emphasizes Nine Core Values™ (confidence, responsibility, respect, honesty, judgment, perseverance, sportsmanship, integrity, and courtesy) at every level of instruction.
