Typically Fujikura reports their Tour wins after the weekend, but they are honoring a champion of their own today, as Fujikura’s John Hovis is on his way to Stuttgart Germany to represent the USA in the Mercedes Trophy World Finals being held Friday, September 27th – September 29th.
Over 65,000 participants from 60 countries started the qualifying process around the world and now it is down to three man teams. Two members will play for the team competition and one individual will compete in the low gross competition. John will be playing as the single player for low gross competition.
The USA team will fly to Stuttgart, Germany the home of Mercedes-Benz, and represent Team USA where they compete against approximately 30 nations from across the globe for a chance to lift the ultimate prize – the Nations Trophy.
