(HARRIS, Mich.) – Midwestern golfers seeking quick fall getaway options will find overnight packages at Sweetgrass Golf Club (www.sweetgrassgolfclub.com) at the Island Resort & Casino start at under $100 through Oct. 20.

Situated in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, Sweetgrass offers customizable packages including one round of golf and one night stay starting at $75 (double occupancy) or two rounds of golf and three nights beginning at $190 (double occupancy).

For the avid golfer, the popular Perfect 4Some package offers three rounds of golf including rounds at nearby Greywalls and TimberStone as well as two nights accommodations starting at $215 (double occupancy).

“October is great for golf in the UP with brilliant fall color and clear, sunny skies,” said Dave Douglas, Director of Golf. “Golfers looking for a quick trip will enjoy our easy, customizable packages that fit their needs and budgets.”

The regular rate through Oct. 20 including golf, shared cart, GPS and range balls is $45. Owned and operated by the Hannahville Indian Community, the Paul Albanese design has garnered numerous awards including a top-20 spot on Golfweek’s “Best Courses You Can Play” list since 2010.
