Myrtle Beach, S.C. – (September 3, 2013) – Over the last five years, former NGA TOUR member John Daly has been sporting some colorful clothing on the PGA, Web.com and European Tours with the help of Loudmouth Golf.
Now, thanks to a partnership with flamboyant clothing manufacturer and the top-rated developmental tour, current members will be rewarded by Loudmouth Golf for excelling in the NGA TOUR’s Florida Winter Series.
“We are pleased that Loudmouth Golf has decided to become a cooperate partner and reward some of the best golfers this side of the PGA TOUR,” said Robin L. Waters, NGA TOUR president. “Loudmouth Golf and the NGA TOUR are both important parts of the golfing industry and we believe this this partnership will expand brand awareness for both companies.”
Today, the National Golf Association and Loudmouth Golf announced a partnership that will include awarding the top finisher in each NGA Florida Winter Series event an apparel product allowance.
Loudmouth Golf is an American sportswear company based in Sonoma County, Calif., known for “flamboyant” trousers. The company was established in 2000 by Scott “Woody” Woodworth, whose first design involved a children’s fabric with prints of Warner Brothers cartoon characters, which he had made by a local seamstress.
In 2009, Daly appeared wearing “loud” clothing and later entered a formal endorsement agreement with the company. Celebrities Alice Cooper, Bill Murray, Will Ferrell, Penny Marshall, Dennis Rodman, Anthony Anderson and many others have also donned the colorful clothing on the links.
The NGA Pro Golf Tour is the No. 3 Men’s Professional Golf Tour in the United States after the PGA and Web.com Tours and is the No. 1 recommended developmental tour by more PGA and Web.com Tour Professionals.
