Morristown, New Jersey (April 2022) – The 2nd Annual “Saving Grace” Fundraiser hosted by Golf4Her Foundation, established to raise funds for Grace, the daughter of LPGA tour pro Jane Park and LPGA caddy, Peter Godfrey.
This special event will be held May 9 at 1776 by David Burke featuring Topgolf Swing Suites. Tickets and sponsorships can be purchased online at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/saving-grace-fundraiser-tickets
Once again. several top LPGA tour pros are expected to attend to help raise funds at this exclusive event. Ticket holders will enjoy a step and repeat photo op, meet & greet with the attending LPGA tour pros and TV star golf commentators, passed hors d’oeuvres, special 1776 signature cocktails, wine and beer. In addition to the ticket price there will be other ways to help raise funds, such as a silent auction – which will include golfing experiences with the pros and much more – and a fun interactive “Beat-the-Pro”, a closest to the pin competition held in the luxury golf suites. Winners of the “Beat-the-Pro” will get a ticket for a unique prize drawing at the end of the night.
Players committed to attend this year’s event include Alison Lee, Brittany Lang, Brittany Lincicome, Bronte Law, Emma Tally, Gabby Lopez, Jaye Marie Green, Jessica Korda, Marina Alex (event co-host), Mariajo Uribe ,Mel Reid, Morgan Pressel, Cindy LaCrosse
Last year’s event raised $50,000 for the for the care of Grace, the year-old daughter of tour pro Jane Park and her husband, LPGA caddy Peter Godfrey. Godfrey at the time was the caddy for Ariya Jutanugarn. In early July 2021, 10 month old Grace was hospitalized with seizures and brain swelling and has since been diagnosed with severe brain damage. What caused this is still undetermined. As a result, she is expected to live a life in need of assistance. Because of this unplanned, life-changing event, the goal of this event is to help the family adjust to their new life caring for a child with long-term special needs.
This event was created by, Christina Thompson, CEO and founder of Golf4Her.com – an online golf boutique for women and Park’s apparel sponsor for 7 years – and founder of Golf4Her Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) with a mission to help women and girls in the golf community. To assist in the success of this event, LPGA Tour pro Marina Alex and Sue Vorcheimer, Director of Business Development for 1776 spearheaded the highly successful, fun, star-studded event to raise funds for the family’s care of Grace.
“It is our way of doing our part to help raise funds to help the family caring for a child with long term special needs,” explained Thompson. “This unplanned, life-changing event caused Jane and Peter to interrupt their careers to care for their daughter. By raising funds with this event we can show them we are all thinking of Grace.”

The LPGA stars are in New Jersey to compete for the Cognizant Founders Cup from May 12-15 at Upper Montclair Country Club, Clifton.
