NOVI, MI – 2THUMB, “The Grip That Wins”, announced today that PGA Tour Staff Professional, Matthew NeSmith, captured a T-4th Place Finish at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans this past weekend.
NeSmith, who joined the PGA Tour in 2020, has now recorded nine Top 10 Finishes in his career. He and his playing partner, Taylor Moore, finished at 26 under par for the tournament, just 2 strokes behind the leaders.
Matthew NeSmith joined the 2THUMB Team of Staff Professionals on April 1st and is currently ranked 58th on the FedEx Cup Points List.
NeSmith uses the OG Taper Lite 43 which is based on the design of the Original 2THUMB grips specifically developed to keep shoulders aligned while reducing grip tension.
The OG TAPER LITE 43 is an incredibly versatile grip that will accommodate all of today’s gripping styles, from Conventional, Claw, Left hand low, Prayer etc. Its tapered design stays true to 2Thumb’s Classic range of grips which promote even grip pressure across both hands and by doing so reducing potential wrist action.
Darin Dingman, former owner of Super Stroke, now heads up operations for 2THUMB Grip North America and players on both the PGA TOUR and DP World Tour have taken notice and more and more players each week are putting 2THUMB Grips into play.
