NOVI, MI – Amongst the many players chasing Scottie Scheffler on Sunday at the 107th PGA Championship at Quail Hollow Golf Club, was 2THUMB putting grip ambassador, Matt Wallace. A member of the PGA and DP Tours, Wallace finished T17 alongside Alex Noren at three under par for the championship with rounds of 71, 70,68 and 72.
Wallace had a standout 2024 season on the DP World Tour. He ended a six-year winless drought last year with his victory at the 2024 Omega European Masters in September. The 34-year-old competed in 13 tournaments and made 12 cuts. In addition to his win, Wallace had three top 10 finishes and eight 25 finishes.
From London, England, Wallace attended Jacksonville State University before turning pro in 2012. Wallace’s best finish in 2025 to date was a tie for 12th at the Corales Puntacana Championship, where he finished with a score of 10-under.
