NOVI, MI – 2Thumb, “The Grip That Wins”, announced today that they had a player, using their OG 43 grip, finish T-2nd in a sudden death playoff, at The MyGolfLife Open held at Pecanwood Golf & Country Club in Hartbeespoort, South Africa this past weekend.
The Tour Player fired a 7 under 65 in the final round to get to 22 under and force a three-player sudden death playoff. He birdied the first hole, as did the eventual winner, and then fell short on the second hole of the playoff to finish T-2nd. He collected a check for $153,905.00 and is now Ranked 4th on the DP World Tour.
“A Runner-Up Finish on the European Tour and back-to-back Top 25 finishes on the PGA Tour over the past three weeks,’ said Darin Dingman of 2Thumb Grip. “It’s been pretty exciting. Like I said before…I feel like we’re very close to capturing our next Tour win!”
