Waterloo, IA – Matt Strong has been named VGM Club’s Director of Member Development for the Prairie Region which includes Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and Colorado.
Strong, a graduate of Arizona State University, had spent the past 12 years as a territory manager for several golf equipment manufacturers in Colorado and Kansas. Prior to that, he was an assistant golf professional in the Phoenix area.
“Matt brings with him a great business sense, a customer-first approach, and a long track-record of success in the club industry,” said Mike Sawyer, VGM Club’s Vice President of Sales.
“He fits right into our company’s culture and philosophy. We’re excited to have Matt join the team.”
Strong will be taking over for Troy Hoffman who recently moved to Arizona to service the southwest region for VGM Club.
Strong begins October 1 and will be based out of Olathe, KS.
