Mizuno Announces New JPX Fli-Hi's As Direct Long-Iron Replacement

JPX Fli-Hi provides extraordinary ease of launch with maximum forgiveness

Norcross, Ga. – (Oct. 8, 2013) – Mizuno USA, a world-class leader in golf technology and development, released the latest addition to the JPX lineup to coincide with the ultra-popular JPZ EZ line of forged and cast irons, JPX FLI-HI. Geared to be a direct long iron replacement, the FLI-HI provides golfers of all levels an easy to launch, extremely forgiving club with an easy-to-hit, hybrid-shaped head.
Mizuno created the JPX FLI-HI as a seamless replacement for those hard to hit three, four, five and six irons in a traditional set of irons. The FLI-HI’s have the look and feel of a hybrid yet are intended for much more precise yardages to give players an easy to launch club they feel confident swinging at address.
The FLI-HI’s drop down crown gives it an extremely low COG providing an easy, high launch angle and steep, controlled landing angle to enable players to shoot for the pin and hold greens. A thin sole portion of the club head flexes throughout the face upon impact to be forgiving on shots, while still providing ample distance to reach the green.
“For years we’ve created FLI-HI’s that are so easy to hit, it’s like cheating, and for those folks who have difficulties with the long irons, the JPX FLI-HI is the perfect replacement,” said Chuck Couch, VP of Product Management, Golf Division. “Once golfers get their hands on the FLI-HI they’ll know what all the hype is about and never take this club out of their bag.”
Available in multiple lofts for golfers looking to replace those hard to hit long irons, the JPX FLI-HI’s offer flexibility to create a fully integrated and customizable set to meet the needs of the golfer’s game.
