RICHARDSON, TX-ezLocator, a Richardson-based company which provides a software program designed to help golf courses manage the placements of pins more effectively, will provide $5,000 in scholarships to deserving golf professionals in the Northern Texas PGA to help offset expenses related to their training.
“It came to our attention that it is costly for young men to get their necessary training by attending the PGA Business Schools and we thought this was one way we could help our future industry leaders,” said Jon Schultz, President of ezLocator.
Working in conjunction with the NTPGA, two separate $2,500 grants will be awarded-one to a newly elected PGA member from the first 10 months of 2013 and a second to an apprentice in the process of completing level 2 or 3 of the required training. The awarding of the grants will be at the NTPGA Metro Chapter meeting November 4, 2013.
