(VIENNA, VA) – Women on Course – the premier golf-networking organization and division of Billy Casper Golf – will host “Birdies to Beauties” featuring Bobbi Brown cosmetics at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday, November 5 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The happy hour event features tips from Bobbi Brown make-up artists about how to transition from the golf course to clubhouse in just minutes. Registration is $40 for Women on Course members and $50 for non-members, and includes appetizers, wine, make-up lesson and members receive a $10 credit toward a Bobbi Brown purchase.
“We’re excited to partner with a highly respected brand like Bobbi Brown to help entrepreneurial women even better understand this aspect of the game,” says Donna Hoffman, President of Women on Course. “The event is an example of how Women on Course introduces women to the golf-lifestyle with a focus on other aspects surrounding the game.”
In September, Billy Casper Golf acquired Women on Course and is dedicating extensive resources to significantly expand the organization’s membership base and expose millions of women to golf, benefitting the short- and long-term vitality of the game. Since 2010, Women on Course has increased its participation by more than 40 percent.
Women on Course differs from other golf organizations in highlighting fashion, fitness, travel and luxury components surrounding the world of golf; it is not unilaterally focused on getting the ball in the hole. Members enjoy free gifts; special access to private clubs; discounts on greens fees, apparel, equipment, wine and other products; golf and educational resources; contests; and forums.
Well known for its interactive, welcoming environment, Women on Course hosts golf, lunch, happy hour and wine-spa activities in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, Scottsdale, San Diego, San Francisco, Washington, DC and other markets. Three-day destination weekends are at Kingsmill Resort (Williamsburg, VA), Sonoma Mission Inn (Napa Valley, CA) and Hyatt Hill Country Resort & Spa (San Antonio, TX).
