(Palm Beach Gardens, FL) – EWGA members celebrated the first year anniversary of EWGA-Bermuda with an island visit during the 31st PGA Grand Slam of Golf. While Adam Scott broke a course record shooting a 64 to capture the 31st PGA Grand Slam of Golf title, EWGA members from the U.S. and Bermuda were there to witness his victory.
A group of U.S. Executive Distinction EWGA members traveled to the island of Bermuda for a four day experience highlighted by a celebration with EWGA-Bermuda members. The EWGA-Bermuda Chapter is the fastest growing international Chapter of EWGA with over 150 members in its first year. The Vice President of the Chapter, Valerie Nearon was also the Vice-Chair of the PGA Grand Slam.
“It was a synergistic trip on so many levels,” said Pam Swensen, EWGA’s CEO, “with our relationship with the Bermuda Department of Tourism, the PGA of America and with so many of our EWGA-Bermuda members volunteering their time at the event. These ladies epitomize what EWGA is all about by giving back to the game.”
“Playing with Padraig Harrington in the Pro-Am along with the Vice Chair was an incredible experience and just goes to show that women do get opportunities to build relationships on the golf course at the highest levels too!” shared Pam.
