For the 2nd year in a row, Future Champions Golf will be hosting some of the best boys in junior golf at the FCG Invitational on Nov. 30 – Dec.1. The host course will be the magnificent Bayonet Course at Bayonet Blackhorse on the Monterey Bay; “Certain to provide both challenges and inspiration to golfers for generations to come, Bayonet has been re-sculpted by award-winning golf course architect Gene Bates. Retaining its classic, tree-lined character, while showcasing Bates’ elegant bunkering and graceful greens, the new Bayonet offers expanded views of the bay…Always stimulating and in spectacular shape, and with Monterey Bay as its inspiring backdrop, the remodeled Bayonet is ready for the new era to begin.”

There are already some impressive names in the 2013 field, including:
-Ahmed Ali (2008 Callaway Junior World Champion, 2009 FCG World Champion and 2008 FCG San Diego Junior Masters Champion)
-Sahith Theegala (3-time Callaway Junior World Champion, 2009 FCG World Champion, 2013 US Junior Amateur Participant & USA Junior National Golf Team Member)
-Corey Eddings (2013 FCG Santa Barbara Champion & 2013 US Junior Amateur Participant)
With a field as strong as the one that this event produces, the FCG Invitational is an excellent opportunity to receive exposure to college coaches. In 2012 we had coaches from Arizona State University, University of Oregon & CSU Monterey Bay out on the course watching players.
Being named the champion of the FCG Invitational is a major accomplishment, which is why FCG has lined up some great exemptions and prizes for the 2013 champion:
-Exemption into the Bobby Chapman Invitational – a Polo Ranked Event
-Exemption into the Beth Daniel Azalea Junior
-4 AJGA PBE Stars
-TaylorMade Golf Customized Staff Bag
