Boulder, Colo. (November 5, 2013) – The 2013-2014 WGC-HSBC Champions winner trusted KBS shafts in arguably the biggest win of his career at Sheshan International in Shanghai, China, last weekend. After closing with a 6-under 66, the winner captured his first World Golf Championship title.
The champion has compiled eight PGA Tour wins while using the KBS WEDGE, a shaft he has trusted since 2009. This victory marks the second PGA Tour win and the third overall for KBS in a one week span. Last week, KBS took home wins at the AT&T Championship and the CIMB Classic with the KBS TOUR shaft and the KBS HI-REV shaft, respectively.
This player earned his other notable 2013 Tour win at the Hyundai TOC in January. Since turning professional in 2007, the champion has won his first six seasons on Tour, a feat accomplished by only a select few.
