December 2, 2013, Howey in the Hills, FL – World renowned golf coach Gary Gilchrist will travel to Shanghai, China to host two clinics for juniors Dec. 7, 2013 and support the growth and development of the game.
The clinics in Shanghai are part of a two-stop trip where Gilchrist will also host clinics alongside his former world No. 1 star from Taiwan, Yani Tseng. The clinics in Taiwan will take place at National Golf Club in Central Taiwan Dec. 12-14, 2013 and the clinics in Shanghai will take place at Tianma Country Club, home of the Tianma Golf Academy in association with Shanghai Yani Tseng Sports Consulting.
“I’m really looking forward to my trip and meeting so many of the game’s next great generation of golfers,” said Gilchrist, who also coaches Shanshan Feng, who hails from China and is currently ranked No. 4 in the world. “I hope to help the juniors there develop a solid foundation and inspire them toward big things in our great game.”
The day in Shanghai will be broken into two three-hour sessions, a morning clinic (9am-12pm) and an afternoon clinic (2pm-5pm). Gilchrist will share some of his philosophies and teaching methods at the clinics including basic fundamentals (grip, posture and alignment), the pivot, the Six Steps of the golf swing and much more.
Junior golfers of all ages are encouraged to attend.
Gilchrist, recognized by both Golf Digest and Golf Magazine as a Top Teacher in the game, is the founder of the http://ggga.com near Orlando in Howey in the Hills, Fla.

Feng has claimed 10 wins worldwide since 2011 with one major and Morgan Hoffmann is a rising star entering his second year on the PGA Tour after a standout college career at Oklahoma State where he spent a short time as the No. 1 ranked amateur in the world.
