Boulder, Colo. (December 6, 2013) — KBS player and recent winner of the season-long Charles Schwab Cup was honored as the 2013 Champions Tour Player of the Year. This player beat out seven other nominees for the Jack Nicklaus award.
The recipient of this award has been playing the KBS TOUR shaft since 2008 and has compiled five wins in just two years on the Champions Tour. This player tallied three wins in 2013, including back-to-back victories at the Constellation SENIOR PLAYERS Championship and the U.S. Senior Open Championship. His other victory was accomplished late in the season at the AT&T Championship.
