(Palm Beach Gardens, FL) The Executive Women’s Golf Association announced today that Le Ann Finger has joined the EWGA Headquarters as the Director of Player Development.
Le Ann comes to EWGA after working at The PGA of America Headquarters for the past six years as their National Promotions Specialist where she led the development of eight national player development programs. She also managed the women’s golf initiatives and programs designed to welcome non-golfers and former golfers into a women friendly, non-intimidating environment.
“As the EWGA looks to develop alternate player development programs, Le Ann is a great asset for the organization,” said EWGA CEO Pam Swensen. “She is one of only 200 women who are both a PGA and LPGA Class A Teaching Professionals. Le Ann’s extensive background includes experience in golf administration, golf operations, six years as a head coach at the Division III level, as well as serving as a liaison with allied golf associations for many years. We are very fortunate to have her on board.”
Le Ann’s role as the EWGA’s Director of Player Development includes responsibilities such as managing the current golf educational programs, developing a new platform to communicate game improvement offerings for members, ensure the maximum utilization of the Get Golf Ready program at the chapter level, be the direct resource for golf education chairs, and serve as the leader for the Let’s Go Golf program.
As the EWGA moves forward in their efforts to growing the female participation, Le Ann will be another key individual in continuing to invite more women into the game of golf.
A native of West Des Moines, Iowa, Le Ann is a graduate of St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota where she was a four-year letter winner and captain of the women’s golf team.
