CARLSBAD, Calif. (Dec. 16, 2013) – Two world-class players using Nippon Shaft products in their irons score a victory and a runner-up finish, respectively, over the weekend at the Thailand Golf Championship.
The winning 33-year-old Spaniard used Nippon Shaft’s N.S. PRO MODUS3 Tour 130 steel shafts with an X flex in his irons in compiling a 22-under par total 266 on rounds of 68-65-65-68. He won by four shots strokes over the Swede who recently won both the FedEx Cup and the Race to Dubai playoffs on the U.S. and Europeans Tours.
The 37-year-old runner-up used the N.S. PRO MODUS3 Tour 120 steel shafts with an X flex in his irons en route to a four-day total of 18-under, shooting 70-67-65-68, at the Amata Spring Country Club in Chonburi, Thailand.
