TaylorMade-Adidas Golf global vice president Mike Ferris gives keynote address at San Diego campus
December 17, 2013, Birmingham, Ala. – TaylorMade-Adidas Golf global vice president Mike Ferris was the keynote speaker in San Diego as students from the five Golf Academy of America campuses received their associate degree in Golf Complex Operations and Management during separate ceremonies Dec. 13.
Ferris, who oversees product marketing at TaylorMade-Adidas, congratulated and encouraged San Diego campus graduates gathered at Rancho Bernardo Inn.
A total of 297 students graduated from the 16-month program, which balances classroom studies, practical experience and a comprehensive understanding of both the game and business of golf, at campuses in San Diego, Phoenix, Dallas, Myrtle Beach and Orlando.
“We’re very proud of our graduates,” said Golf Academy of America president Jim Hart. “They’ve worked hard under the guidance of our great staff of PGA professionals, so they’re prepared to step into a wide variety of golf career opportunities.”
