RICHARDSON, TX-ezLocator, which provides a unique software program designed to help golf courses manage the placement of pins more effectively and facilitate club communications, will conduct workshops for golf professionals and general managers at the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando. The one-hour workshops are scheduled at 2 p.m. on Jan. 21 and Jan 23 in room 203A at the Orange County Convention Center.
“We will present and demonstrate how information such as 3D images of the greens can allow courses to find new locations improve course conditioning and enhance members experience,” said Jon Schultz, President of ezLocator. “Implementing our system definitely helps superintendents manage the wear and tear on the greens, but golf professionals also see benefits when they present tournament-quality pin placement sheets to their members.”
Chad Kurmel, director of golf at the Boca Grove Club in Boca Raton, FL noted, “It’s definitely a nice value added service that puts us a step above the competition.”
Kevin Muldoon of the Country Club of York in York, PA, agrees with Kurmel. “It was a great time saver for me when I got ready to block the pin placements for my club championship,” he added, pointing out how he was able to isolate areas in the system so they could not be used prior to the event.
