Anaheim, CA- For six grueling rounds, players competed at PGA West in La Quinta, CA, fighting to earn their Web.com tour status for the upcoming 2014 season. Out of the top ten who are moving on, two played Matrix Shafts in the bag including the 1st place finisher, who used Matrix in his TaylorMade driver, 3-wood, and 5-wood, and the 6th place finisher who used Matrix in his Adams hybrid.
“The Web.com Tour Qualifying Tournament gives us the unique opportunity to build relationships and bring brand exposure to the players we usually wouldn’t have the chance to work with,” said Director of Tour Operations for Matrix Shafts, Joe Miera. “Many of the players on the PGA Tour who use Matrix shafts began playing them when we met at a tour qualifying event. Introducing the brand and fitting players with our product at the earliest start in their career is vital. We love for the players to be familiar with and trust the products we give them.”
The Matrix tour team will continue to support the Web.com Tour events continuing through the 2014 season. For more information and pictures from tour, follow Matrix Shafts on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
