Science & Motion Sports today announced the roll out of the new SAM PuttLab 5.
Science & Motion Sports (SAM) said, “We’re very proud to finally have a completed project. SAM 5 will offer many new enhancements of the original SAM PuttLab software. While we have made many changes existing users will be happy to know that the graphic user interface (GUI) remains the same as the 2010 version.
SAM 5 will be most noted for the inclusion of an all new iPad remote control application. Now SAM instructors / coaches will be able to use their iPad to remotely control the PC. The app will add new freedom of calibration and report presentation but will also allow the user to edit, annotate and dictate audio notes on SAM reports, photos and videos. These notes / videos can then be transmitted to the golfer via email or social media. The app is available now on the App Store titled PuttLab 5.
SAM added, “We feel the SAM PuttLab is the first technology that should be considered for any golf training environment. SAM PuttLab is completely portable and can be used both indoors and out. 2013 customers should by now have received a download link with software key. Beginning Jan. 2/2014 existing SAM 2010 users may update to the new SAM 5 for just $395. Those with 2008 or earlier versions of SAM including the original wired triplet models will be able to update to the SAM 5 for just $695.
